Gooseberry cake

Inspired by my Cappuccino Friend, but following the instructions Apetit magazine, with my little modification, I've made this delicious round-formed cake:

It's not much, because I have used a little cup of yogurt and it followed smaller amounts of sugar, oil and flour. But it's good enough to make a delight with an afternoon coffee :-)

For those who interest, here's recipe:

  • 1 cup of white yogurt
  • 1 cup of semolina sugar (you better use the cup of yogurt for measuring)
  • 1/2 cup of vegetable oil
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup of semi-course flour
  • 1/2 baking powder
For crusty crumbling:
  • 100 g coarse flour
  • 80 g semolina sugar
  • 80 g butter
Mix up dough, take it to the form (please don't forget butter up it and powder it by flour), then add gooseberries and finally sprinkle the crumbling. Add to good preheated oven (175-180C should be good enough) and bake it for 20-25 minutes.

Then let it cool down and enjoy as well as we do! :-)

Spring is here!

Spring is here and together with my girl we made some happy decorations - could be used to the flowerpot or as you like.

Reconstruction and renovation :)

Few month ago Clawdeen Wolf, the monster doll, was injured by our little monster girl!
K. ripped off Clawdeen´s hand in juncture, so it could not be joined anymore.
I´ve tried to find some little juncture and exchange it, but unfortunetely.
So I´ve used my very favourite binding material:  transparent adhesive tape :-)
Maybe it´s not professional and the hand is not flexible anymore, but pure Clawdeen looks much more better now, nobody could say now she is a handicapped! :D

Sewing and crochetting for dolls

My first-born girl was asking me about some cool dress for her new MH doll - Catty Noir! Mercifully she showed me this amazing blog: http://panenkomanie.blog.cz/, where I´ve found precise instructions how to do coveralls, dresses, skirts and other necessery things for dolls, even furniture! :-)

I promise I never thought that it could be so easy, many thanx, Panenkomanie!
how-to for coveralls

Of course, I had to sew something also for "Equestria girl", new doll of younger daughter.

For both dolls I´ve crochetted fine scarfs (embroidery cotton, hook 0, solomon´s knot pattern)-

Happy New Year 2014

Waiting on  New Year's Toast I've finished this funny grey hood with scarflette. It reminds me the famous Czech fairy-tale film about princess who was dressed in mouse fur :-)

I think last year I had also finished with scarf :-) Such a nice tradition!

I wish you a Happy New Year 2014!
